About RiftRunner

RiftRunner is a Windows game being developed under the name RiftRunner Studio. This notice covers its development build and this informational website. It will be updated before new public online services are introduced.

Epic Games sign-in

Sign-in is handled by Epic Games. RiftRunner does not receive your Epic password. The current integration requests Basic Profile only: Epic account ID, display name, preferred language and linked account display names made available by Epic. We use account identity to authenticate the player and display their signed-in name.

The current configuration does not request friends-list, presence or country permissions. Epic operates its account services under the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

Local progress and settings

The development build stores gameplay progress and preferences on your device. It does not currently upload battle pass progress, cosmetics or rank progress to a RiftRunner account database. Local-network matches exchange player and match information between the host and connected players.

Website data

This website has no registration form, advertising scripts or custom analytics. Requests to the hosting provider can involve technical information such as IP address, browser information and request logs to deliver and secure the website. Hosting-provider practices apply separately.

Retention and control

Local saves remain on your device until removed. Development logs can contain technical and account identifiers and remain locally until removed. Signing out ends the game session; authorization for RiftRunner can also be managed in your Epic account settings. Removing local game data does not delete your Epic account.

Upcoming services

Public matchmaking, tournament accounts and real-money purchases are not available in the current development setup. This notice will be updated before additional information is collected for those features.
